About

My Background

Throughout my life, I’ve navigated periods of disconnection—from myself, from others, from nature, and from a clear sense of direction. These experiences shape the way I show up as a therapist: with humility, curiosity, and a deep belief in the power of relationship. I’m passionate about what it means to belong—within ourselves, in our communities, and in the wider world—and I bring that relational lens into every aspect of my work. Professionally, my training is rooted in Social Work, a field that emphasizes systems thinking and recognizes that we’re shaped not just by personal experience but by our environments and the structures around us. I bring this lens to therapy, exploring how everything from your inner world to your relationships, community, and larger systems in society can impact your wellbeing. My clinical background began in integrated behavioral health, where I worked across medical and community-based settings. While the goal was to treat the whole person, I often witnessed how care still becomes fragmented—reducing people to diagnoses or isolated symptoms. This reinforced my belief in the need for truly holistic care. Mind, body, and spirit are deeply connected, and this work often requires attention to all parts. I integrate evidence-informed practices and center the body as a vital part of the healing process. Foundational training in Somatic Experiencing and ongoing training in Intuitive Eating supports this work, helping clients reconnect with body cues, rebuild self-trust, and develop more fluid, compassionate relationships with themselves and the world around them.
